The Imperial Seal

About
Brutal Sun Studio

Once upon a time, there was another world.

Unimaginable wonder could be found within it, but so could sickening horrors. Studying its history was like viewing a great weaving between darkness and light. In its early ages, this weaving was much darker than lighter; lengthy wars frequently erupted across its continents and planets, leaving behind little but terrible destruction and hopelessness. In fact, it was written among the records of all the worlds, that few had such a violent history as this one did. As might be expected of such a world, little could advance in it. It remained dark and primitive far longer than it should have.

But the crumbled world was not forsaken. Someone cared about its fate. A mysterious entity, living eternally outside the confines of time and space, had been watching over it. Unable to bear the suffering in that world any longer, the entity tore off part of itself, and laid that piece within the broken world.

The entity's fragment became as a new entity unto itself. Even though it was tired and wounded from the separation, it wasted no time. First it took on a fleshly form, which it was unaccustomed to, as a magnificent and fearful black beast (it needed it, for that world). Then it set out on a mission: to establish and maintain a vast empire, which would bring peace and order wherever it ruled.

And so began the Empire of the Seven Provinces.

Imperial Symbol

Brutal Sun Studio seeks to chronicle the Empire in art, stories, and OOAK (one-of-a-kind)/artist dolls.

Bit by bit, as each new project is released, a little more about the Empire and its fascinating inhabitants shall be revealed. At times the Empire will be shown during its early days, when everything is primitive and barbaric, even within the Empire itself. Other times a high-tech futuristic Empire well be shown, thousands of years later, at a time when the Emperor is trying to reach out to distant planets, instead of mere continents. And of course, any time between these two extremes may come to light as well.

The first stories about the Empire can be found in the Doll Pages. Eventually, the Art Page will have some as well. When there are stories in both places, an organized story index will be made for them, so they will be easy to find.
